On another one of my Duane Reade drifts, I came across this interesting little bottle called HappyMe Overnight Pimple Eliminator. Being a romantic, I picked it up for $8.99 as a "gift" for my husband who regularly gets a good batch of a under-the-skin spots from aeroplanes and general stress.
This is one spot treatment I am happy to give my double thumbs up to. I think it's going to be particularly good for under-the-skin and "greasy" spots rather than simply blocked pores and such, but it's definitely a handy bottle to have lying around.

For the money, this is also a very effective spot pimple killer. It smells pleasant, and works while you sleep.
I first heard about this treatment from a Local 706 makeup artist on a popular TV show, who swore by it and gave it to her mainly teen cast. The potion features sulfur, zinc oxide, a natural mineral, combined with other luxury grade natural ingredients like tea tree oil to destroy pimples on contact. It is safer and more effective than the common chemical treatment benzoyl peroxide.

Acne really stinks! And as you all may remember I shared with you the fact that I’ve suffered from it since age 13 and it doesn’t seem to be going anywhere anytime soon. The skin on my face still thinks it belongs to a teenager.
Well, as much as I would love to be a teen again, it’s obviously not going to happen so in the meantime I’ve tried pretty much everything out there including prescription medications. And although some medications such as Accutane have helped, as soon as I’ve quit taking the meds, the acne came right back. It’s been a very stressful battle. What is worse is that stress can be a main cause of acne. ACK!!! These painful, nasty ‘road bumps’ (as I call them) need to hit the road where they belong.

I wasn't quite sure what to do with the Pore & Fine Line perfecter and primer. I'd never used a primer before. I thought I'd wait awhile and try it later, but I am SO GLAD I didn't! As soon as I put this product on, I loved it!
It was different than anything I had ever tried before. It came out of the tube like a thick, rubbery, clay like substance. I smoothed it on my face and...... I was gorgeous! Okay, that seems a bit extreme, but I'm not kidding.

Pore and Fine Line Perfector and Primer will help you get a flawless, happy complexion with its matte finishing liquid powder. I really love this product. The liquid powder gives my skin the much needed moisture, but it leaves it without the added oil most face creams have. My skin gets really oily and with this product I had no issues with that. The mild smell is also great, I love lavender when added to beauty products. I also love that it leaves my skin firmer, with more youthful skin texture. It minimizes pore size while tightening skin, and that is just what my skin needed. The liquid powder finish creates the perfect foundation for makeup, although, you may not need makeup now because after several days your skin will look and feel beautiful. It is really smooth and easy to apply, and it will cover your skin evenly.

The One Fantastical - Review
What is one thing I cannot stand? Having my face broken out in zits and pimples, black and white heads and when it is puffy and red and completely unattractive. Although I am out of my teenage years I am obviously not out of the woods yet when it comes to my acne breakouts.
I also love trying out new products, and what I love more is when they actually work. But, like most people I do not always have the easiest time getting my hands on a successful acne kit, which is why I am super thankful for the adult Happy Me Skincare kit, which seemed to have the best effect on my skin—even better than when I used proactive!

I have had acne ever since puberty but more so since I had kids. I used to think acne was something I would grow out of, but now in my late 20’s I have terrible acne. I have tried a few different cleaners and treatments but they either dry out my skin too much or they just don’t work.
What I like about the Happy Me Skincare line is that it is a natural line full of ingredients that not only soothe your skin but also fight bacteria that causes acne. After using Happy Me Skincare Natural Acne Corrective System for a few weeks now and I am definitely pleased. My skin does not feel dried out, tight, or irritated. There is no redness and the products have a light pleasant scent.

I was asked if I would like to review a few of the products in the Happy Me Skincare line and jumped at the chance. Having recently gone over the "40" mark I definitely notice changes in my skin and am anxious to stop it :) I was able to try the three products pictured above. The first one I was thrilled to try was the Hand Repair treatment. I am fair skinned and my hands were the first to have age spots. The repair treatment has Brassicaceae Extract which works with Lemon Fruit Extract to give skin an even toned, youthful glow by naturally lightening and brightening sun and age spots. Rosemary Leaf Oil tightens skin and reduces fine lines by strengthen tiny blood vessels below the surface and generating new cell growth. All day sun protection from SPF 30 protects from future discoloration keeping your hands happy and youthful. I believe that the age spots are getting lighter, although I have only been using the product a short time.

I received 3 items from the anti-aging line to try – the Neck & Chest Repair, the Pore & Fine Line Perfector and Primer and the Hand Repair. I thought the packaging was very attractive and would definitely catch my eye at the store. Starting last month the Happy Me products are available at mass retailers nationwide like my favorite ULTA. The tag line is that Happy Me Skincare combines nature, luxury and value – I think that is some smart marketing but it’s also very true. These products feel premium. They smell nice, are packaged well and leave my skin feeling great. I would have guessed them to be more expensive than they are (starting at $8.99) and will look for them in my local stores. I loved being able to understand the ingredients in my products and being confident that I am not harming myself by using them. The products are free of parabens, sulfates, artificial dyes and fragrances and are certified cruelty free. Plus they work! What more could you ask for?

Today I'm going to introduce you to a skincare company that I had never even heard of until about a month ago, and whose tagline really caught my attention. The line is called Happy Me Skincare, and their motto is, "combining nature, luxury and value for happy results." Those are definitely 3 words you don't see together very often!
I had the opportunity to try out their anti-aging products. This is the first time I have ever used products that were specifically designed to make my neck, chest and hands look better. I was very excited to get started, because as I have turned the corner and am now in my 30s, I'm realizing that my skin is already getting tired, and it needs some help to restore its youthful glow!
Happy Me Skincare's products seem to be working quite nicely. It is a bit of an adjustment to add 3 additional products to my morning regimen, but I think my efforts are going to pay off. My hands and my neck and chest do feel very smooth, and I like knowing that they have spf 30 protection on when I wear these products. That's just another incentive for me to make them part of my daily routine.

My favorite of the anti-aging products is the Neck & Chest Repair. It contains sweet almond extract and rosewood oil. It’s very gentle and I noticed a difference after using it for just a couple of weeks. I like that it contains SPF 30 and that it’s specially formulated for delicate neck and chest skin that often gets overlooked with other product lines even though it’s visible and exposed to sun and the environment.
